I have decided to attach my newsletter to my website. This allows me to update as I go than forgetting what I had done and when.
Well, it has been quite a busy last few months. I had been sharing my work with another particular Isle of Man Facebook site, but as time had gone on, I decided I needed a new audience. So a big thank you to IOM What, Where, When and General Info 2024. You have made me feel very welcome.
I am thoroughly enjoying the feedback from sharing my watercolours, I have also enjoyed selling my artwork. Always nice to know some of your artwork is sitting in someone's home (or office). These are some of my recent sells: I do try to make sure your purchases arrive in one piece. But if ever this is not the case, please do let me know as soon as. This allows me to make sure you are reimbursed.
My paintings are all based on my photographs. Whenever I can, I visit my family. They have lived on the Isle of Man for more than 30 years. I try and cover as much of the island on my visits. I take loads of photographs and gradually I turn them into watercolours.
I have always enjoyed art, but I am self-taught when it comes to watercolour painting. So, some of my early work will look different to what I do now.
I enjoy capturing the history, landscapes and stunning views of the island and hope my paintings portray that.
